CHADD offers meetings for parents with children with ADD or ADHD. It is a support group, and it offers informative speakers to help in parenting children with ADHD. It is a great supportive network with lots of great speakers and resources available in the community. The meetings are the second Monday. Our next meeting will be on Monday, February 13th from 7-8:30pm at the Park Village Elementary School MP room. Our speaker will be Dr. Tasha Taylor, a behavioral pediatrician, who will be giving a presentation on ADHD medications.

At the end of the school year, our children will be promoting to 6th grade. So far, our class has raised over $3500. The 2011 5th Grade Haunted House was the most successful ever in the history of Miramar Ranch Elementary! This does not include our most recent Boo Gram fundraiser. We needed at least $2500-$3000 to cover the expenses for the promotion and the party. The remainder of the unused funds will go towards a gift to the school from the Class of 2011.
