Who We Are

The FFA (Family-Faculty Association) is a nonprofit parent-led organization dedicated to enhancing the educational experience at MRE through volunteer work and fundraising.

Our FFA Board Members are all parent volunteers who are nominated and elected during our May FFA meeting.
We host events, run committees, and organize activities throughout the year - and there’s a place for everyone to get involved! Many volunteer opportunities can be done from home and require only a small time commitment.

Joining the FFA is your chance to share your creativity, offer ideas, and make a real impact on our students and school.

You are a member of the FFA! 

Everyone who has a student at MRE is already a member of the FFA. There are no membership fees and everyone is invited and welcome to attend the Monthly FFA Meetings.

How the FFA Makes a Difference for Our Students

At MRE, every student benefits from the work of the Family-Faculty Association (FFA). Thanks to the generosity of our families, during the 2024-25 school year we proudly provided over $100,000 in support for programs, resources, and activities that directly enhance our children’s education.

Here’s a look at some of the ways we invested in our students last year:

  • $7,500 – Art program & supplies 
  • $25,000 – Science Lab teachers & supplies 
  • $15,000 – Visual & Performing Arts 
  • $10,000 – Teaching Assistants 
  • $2,000 – Computer Lab & Library 
  • $8,000 – Educational Software 
  • $9,000 – Instructional Supplies 
  • $3,500 – PE & Running Club supplies 
  • $1,500 – Garden Club 
  • $2,000 – Assemblies & other enrichment activities 

Your support makes all of this possible, and together, we’re enriching the learning experience and helping every child at MRE thrive!

Where Does the Money Come From?

The FFA’s ability to support our school comes directly from the generosity and involvement of our MRE families. We raise funds through a variety of fun events and programs, including:


  • Annual Pledge Drive (August–October)
  • Corporate Matching Program
  • Halloween Carnival 
  • Jog-A-Thon (March)
  • Book Fair 
  • Restaurant Nights 
  • Amazon Smile
