Art Committee

MRE Art Chair:
Erin Patel

Job Description: Oversees the administration of the Meet The Masters program at our school. Organizes and attends Art Program Meetings. Serves as spokesperson for the group. Ensures handouts are up to date and approved. Monitors the program's progress through the year. Coordinates orientation. Monitors program budget and finances. 

MRE Art Volunteer Coordinator:
Open

Job Description: Ensures that the volunteer experience is a positive and open opportunity for all parents. Distributes recruitment letters. Instructs parents on the school policy for volunteers. Responsible for all communication with Art Parent Volunteers. Keeps an updated volunteer list and distributes materials as needed to volunteers and teachers. Prepares, schedules, and posts a calendar for all workshops and lessons. Works with the School Website Coordinator to keep the Art section up to date.

MRE Art Supply Coordinator:
Shelby Morgan and Elizabeth Allphin

Job Description: Ensures that all supplies are well stocked in the Art Bungalow and that materials are easily accessible. Orders all Art Supplies. Works with the Head Coordinator on the budget. Checks supplies weekly. Responsible for Art manuals annually.

MRE Art Show Coordinators:
Joey Demoranville

Job Description: Acts as curator of the annual Art Show and supervises the selection of one piece of artwork per child. Coordinates Matting Workshop, including all instructions for parent volunteers. Responsible for obtaining and preparing display boards. Coordinates the logistics of the show withthe  school administration. Schedules volunteers for set-up and take-down of Art Show. Insures that EVERY CHILD has a piece of art in the show.
